The crucified Lord was taken up
Many beheld His ascension
Angels delivered the parting words:
He will yet again return to us
When the Gospel is preached
Even to the ends of the world
Then, He will come
Same way He was ascended
Same way He would descend again

Christ’s and His bride
As promised in the Garden of Eden
Born of a woman
Crushed the head of the serpent
Culminated in the person of Christ
For His sake, people are saved
For His sake, people are redeemed
To be regarded as descendants of the promised seed
Become heirs of God and of Christ
Live and reign together with the Holy Spirit
One God forever blessed
And forever praised

Millennium
“and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years” – Rv 20:4
For those who worship not the beast
Nor receive his mark
On the forehead and the hand
Shall come to life and reign with Christ
This is the first resurrection, the Rebirth
Blessed are those who are born again
These the second death has no power
But will be priests of God and of Christ
And will reign with Him for a thousand years

New heavens and new earth
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea” – Rv 21:1
When evil is dealt with that the sea is no more
When the new Jerusalem is made ready as a bride
And adorned for her husband
Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men
And He will dwell among us
And we shall be His people
And God Himself will be among us
He will wipe away every tear from our eyes
There will be no longer be any death
There will be no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain
Because the first things have passed away

Second Coming

For to us a child is born
Same way He was taken up
Same way He would return again
Since Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many
Will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin
To those who eagerly await Him
