The glory of God has no end
God can reap His glory in saving and in condemning
All of creation screams for His glory
The vastness of the universe
The stars
The planets
The living things
But Jesus is the exact imprint of God
Having the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form
When believers are promised to be like Jesus
Glorified saints have a glory that is like unto the infinite glory of God
Jesus, the bright morning star, having infinite glory
Glorified saints, like Jesus, having nearly infinite glory
When infinity plus near infinity
Is infinity
And since the glory of God is constant
Even if all of creation vanishes
Jesus remains, the glory of God is still the same
But when saints intercede, we ask God to act for His glory’s sake
If it is constant, why bother?
Because Jesus is to save
God cannot contradict Himself
For His glory’s sake, He descends to save sinners
For His glory’s sake, He raises up sinners to sit with God
For Jesus’ sake, God acts to save us
For His name’s sake, God saves
