For every look at ourselves, take ten looks at Jesus

For every blessing received, say thank you Lord Jesus

Thanksgiving is the first step

Of all the grace that flows into a believer

Because all of the blessings

Are blood-bought by Christ Jesus

It is through gratitude that 

The Spirit is willing to act

After receiving the Spirit anointing

Repeatedly

Continuously

We need to try pleasing the Lord

To do so

Bible reading

From cover to cover

Such that we can be informed

How to please the Lord

It is not legalism

It is about walking in the will of God

According to His Word

Bible reading is to let God speaks to ourselves

Prayer is what we pour out our hearts to the Lord

When our prayers are thoughtfully constructed

To address our Heavenly Father

With utter reverence

And without pretence

Then we can have the perfect communion

With the Godhead

It is through bible reading and prayer that

Our minds and spirits be renewed

It is through our complete surrender

To God Almighty that

Our lives be transformed

According to His will

When we can do that

We can rejoice

No matter the circumstances

We can bless God

Even in our trials

We can be different

In a crooked and perverse generation

To be light

And salt

Of this world
